Verification goes digital in Alive App

"Our IDs have long been a part of the digital world thanks to the 📲 Alive App. And now, we have launched a new feature that allows users to better utilize their digital IDs when claiming discounts. In selected stores, all you need to do is pull out your phone with the Alive App, and your entitlement to the discount will be verified within seconds. 👌

We are rolling this out in a pilot phase throughout October and November at approximately 300 locations across the Czech Republic. Merchants can use two options for digital ID verification:

✅ The user scans the QR code placed at the cashier and shows the confirming screen to the merchant.

✅ The user presents their ID in the Alive App to the merchant, who scans it, and on their device, sees the discounts the user is eligible for."
